I agree. Bogus aging, etc. Poor attempt of early pouches.

I wonder where the strap tips came from.

From postwar czechoslovak backpack ( similar to german tropical backpack ) like the one in attachment.

Could also came from postwar czechsolovak breadbag as those were usisng metl, german style tips ( as attached below ).

Or other similar postwar, czechoslovak gear.
