Default Sperb Oberbayern cuffband

This perfect Oberbayern band was on Hannah's Reich - and straight off for the lucky buyer. I don't think I've ever seen a better example of skull hand-embroidery on these bands.

It's an amazing CB, would have bought it straight away. Was just too late.

Superb! As a rule I will not put HE bands in my collection, wouldn’t hesitate with that one. Certainly puts a lot of the HE Oberbayerns proposed on this forum in their place.

The embroidered ones are the more elegant cuffs compared with the bevo's!
Both will be faked!

Here are my Oberbayern cuffs.Directly family acquired.

Bevo’s ? Do you mean the bottom cuff, To the best of my knowledge the flat wire isn’t faked....yet, I was unaware the “bevo” was, interesting thank you for the info or am I misunderstanding ?

All the Oberbayern titles shown are fine originals. Each will be slightly different depending on the skills of the person doing the embroidery.

I find it very intriguing how the embroidery at the "kopf" seems to follow a very strict pattern, with almost identical appearance . . . yet at the "knochen", the embroidery is approached in three different ways. Interesting how artistic license is limited in some respects - and not others!

I agree sir but if you claim this fact about TK collartabs, many people will say they are fakes by definition.
