The thread is in regards to the King Tiger...which is what I thought you were asking about.

The Panther is in the UK. They are finishing up the Turret.

OK Thanks for the update,seems to be taking a life time though, to many projects on the go I suppose,must be nice to be in such a situation

have been told its still in the workshop waiting to be worked on/finished but as most of the staff have left it may be some time

So why not finish the panther first?, before starting these tiger projects?, it makes no sense....and why have the Staff left?...

the tiger projects are being built in Germany for him the panther is in the UK .the staff have retired it seems sad that the panther has been 95% finished for some years now and probably will be a few more until the jobs done.having said all that kevin really has a lot projects on the go

Maybe other TR stuff than tanks came in focus to much? If I see his "rememberance park" with variouse stone artifacts (...)- plus his work on the S-boat - 'I see several black holes soaking up money in large amounts ... and aditinonal each year more and more fragments show up making it more and more possible to build up a Fankentiger from 99% wartime parts - and, who knows - it is still possible that a more complete hull shows up from an eastern swamp...

I don't doubt that finances are not a problem for the Wheatcroft Foundation.
I've been looking at their website, they don't answer people's questions, they tell you what they want to tell you but no more.
If there isn't a public relations person working for them..they certainly need one.
But there again, they don't really do public by looking at the pictures..the memorial park..the military collection..the other collections..for the public to see ?.
