High Tim here are a few shots of my war time conversion helmet, monster size i would geuss about a 62cm has a nice been their look to it. Hope you like. Regards Paul.

You can clearly see where the army sheild was and has been replaced with luftwaffe eagle . Early brass type.

Hi Paul

Thanks for adding some photos of your Herr/LW convert helmet. The outline where the Herr shield was can clearly be seen. Can you see either of the holes from the prongs of the Herr shield ? The difference in the eagles is apparent even with the poor photos, & large size is a bonus. Helmet is in a nice faded used condition too, just how we like to see them.

Would like to thank everyone that has helped with the LW tropenhelm.
Have saved my membership $ fee tenfold this time.
