Default Help Please with this GAB

I am a novice at determining authenticity of badges and would appreciate greatly any assistance. I did purchase the GAB book but I couldn't find a match.

I picked it up this weekend with a Browning M-1922 pistol, being told that the badge came back with the pistol.

Please take a look and let me know your thoughts. The closest match I found to the hinge in my book was a Steinhauer and Luck.

Default hello

Hi William. If you didn’t find your GAB in the book of Heukemes, then for 99% it is fake.
I met your fake GAB last time in the shop Weitze.

this foto original SsL.

Hello
As wrote on Facebook, this is a poor fake badge GAB !

If you look the page 212 of Frank's book, you can find the same badge design like your as "Unknown maker 2", unfortunaly when the book was wrote we tought was an original example, insteadof this is a fake badge based on Shickle design.
