An original postwar (1947-1948) 2nd variant medal in excellent condition with replaced suspension and ribbon.

Always liked that design; with the rays emanating from the star under the banner.
I've noticed that when in groups this medal's often seen with the Berlin medal.

This is because 1 Belorussian from forces were involved in both Warsaw and Berlin battles.

Perfect example!!! Although the history of that section of the war is horrendous... I bet the smells from the Allied betrayal of Aug-Oct 44 were still present and emanating from the ruins. :-(
