Hi Ron,

Is there any evidence of these Frauenschaft patches being real? As a Frauenschaft collector i monitored for many years what's out there and these never were around, until about 4 or 5 year ago these white patches popped up on a daily basis at militaria321 and Weitze. To be honest im a bit sceptical and never bought one, but if anyone can show some evidence that would be great.

best regards,
Gaston

Yes, they are original. The material alone is evidence enough other then that Get this book By Rob Newbrough " Sport and the Third Reich: History, Uniforms, Insignia, and Awards" There is plenty of evidence in photos. Most of them where on uncut rolls that have come up to the market. We are loosing vets daily and when the family comes across this stuff they usually part with it. So do not be surprised that within the next 10 years we see things that may have never been seen before. I my self have a patch that no one can fined info on yet. What makes you question this patch?

Gaston,

I have had these patches for over thirty years, and they are certainly real.

Hope Rob does not mind if I show a photo from his marvelous twin books..."Sport And The Third Reich".

A terrific reference for this area of the hobby.

Ron, I just noticed some thing in that photo. Did the girl to the left put her patch on the wrong way or is it a different patch altogether.

Hi Ron,

Many thanks for your reply and also for posting that great photo. Im not very much up at speed with things these weeks (fever with an infection keeping me in bed most of the time for 5 weeks now), for some reason i did not get that i was in the sportshirt patches thread, but of course it is. This patch is so different than the smaller ones i had in mind.

Thanks for showing us so often interesting items from your wonderfull collection.

Best regards,
Gaston
