Default Aufklärungs (mot.)/Panzeraufklärungs

Probably my #1 favorite branch of the German Army has always been the Aufklärungs (mot.)/Panzeraufklärungs. Here are a few golden yellow piped examples.

Kav./Aufklärungs-Lehr-Abteilung EM, Parade Dress.

I./Aufklärungs-Regiment 7 EM, Parade Dress.

Aufklärungs EM, Field Service uniform. This strap once had a number ‘3’ beneath the letter ‘A’. The tongue was cut probably by some GI.

Does anyone know where these come from?.

I have been looking around a few dealers and they popped up. I am interested to see what you guys think as I am sure the experts will know straight away, so please tell me for interest.

Wow, there are some really nice cloth pieces here, I am almost embarrassed to post these.
Tim

Stabsfeldwebel (Master Sergeant) in the 34th Artillery Regiment: Appears these have had the tongue cut as well.

Okay, not embarrassed here, just ashamed!

Appears to be an early quality Heer (Infantry) officer set of tabs IMO.

Tim - nothing to be ashamed of there. That is a good looking Artillery strap!

Default Thanks Tim!

I agree with Tom's comment 100%! That is one really nice pair of Artillerie Stabswachtmeister shoulder straps and you seldom see a pair this nice anymore.
This Regiment, the 34th served with the 34. Infanterie-Division and from Nov. 43 - Jan. 44 was fighting at Tscherkassy. Tough fight, tough unit!

Nice pair of Inf. officer tabs as well.

Thanks for posting these and please don't hesitate to post ANY tabs, straps or boards. They all tell us a story!

Best Regards

Mike

Hi,

Both tunics are named, The General did most of his service in WW1 and was not a KC winner. I also researched the rocket troop officer and he was killed on the Russian front an EK1 winner though.
