Default Cap comforter ww2 ?

Hello, i just found this cloth piece. Looks like a cap comforter to me.
Dimensions are 36x8 inchs.
A chance to be ww2 or belgian ?
Thank you for your opinions.

By the Colour & Material / Knitting I would think it's more modern US.

If it is green, I was wearing one during the 1970's onwards, (British Army).

Hello thank you for your opinions.
Here better pictures with natural color.
The cloth looks to be wool, no synthétic fabric.
Thank you.

It’s difficult to say really I suppose the edge could have a clue but they probably used the same design for years,
See my super modern version, these things are still great to use today

Kind regards Chay
