Default WWII Browning P35 with unknown markings

Hi. Does anybody know what the markings on the barrel mean? Both the [x] on both sides of feed ramp and the [LT] and the fork like symbol on the lower part of the barrel is unknown to me. Also inside the slide there is a capital K with the digit 3 on top and a single K, what does this marking mean? How can I date this pistol?

Most all military issue pistols have inspection marks applied during the manufacturing process. Generally they identify the person responsible for the inspection, but for the most part their name and responsibility are lost to history.

Probably manufactured in mid to late 1940. Nice HP.

Super nice HP with early wood grips and tangent sights. Much more valuable than a later one.

Nice HP. Code 613 is the earliest one. This one is probably one of the latest examples with this code. Later ones had 103 till 95000 range and then 140. It already should have slot eliminated for shoulder stock. I believe that happened around 53, 54000 serial range. Very nice example.

A very nice early made high power with a tangent sight and I am sure a slotted grip for a shoulder stock. I have one with a slotted grip and a tangent sight but without all the German proofs. It has a25000 number so it is earlier than yours. I have been told that a mag like the one you have carries a price tag of about $200. With that waffenamt on it. Very nice pistol. Frank V.

I don't think it is slotted. Recently auctioned HP with earlier serial 56390 is not slotted, but has orange painted inside surfaces of the grips.

I also believe it is too late to be slotted.
