Default Two NCO Rkt

Original caption says photo was taken during the construction of the "Ostwall"

Looks like the RKT on the left also has the DKiG so that should narrow things down a bit I suppose...

The General der Flieger from the last post looks like Friedrich Christiansen (PLM), but in Schieberts book he is not listed as DK(gold/silver) recipient.

Hi,

thanks for the research, but i think it is not Soren Kam.
The face is a bit different, and the famous picture is not found when we search "Soren Kam".
I'm pretty sure the guy was not an officer. But i know that the guy was identified...

See You

Hi,

one of the famous pictures taken on May 27, 1944 in Tillières-sur-Avre for the 36th birthday of Fritz Witt.

From left to right :

- Kurt Meyer, Kommandeur of SS-Regt. 25
- Max Wünsche, Kommandeur of SS-Pz Regt. 25
- Bernhard Siebken, Kommandeur of the 2nd Bataillon of SS-Regt 26

Jochen Peiper and Bernhard Siebken in France, 1940.

See You

Vince

This is a tough one. I have been trying to ID this Luftwaffe administrative official for some time.

I have been told he is an Oberkriegsgerichtsrat and his surname may be Schleich. He wears the Order of the Crown of Romania. Can anyone identify him.

Many thanks,
Larry

He's wearing the collar patch of an Oberfeldpolizeidirektor (Oberstleutnant) in the GFP, the Luftwaffe's secret field police.
