Default Kampfgeschwader "General Wever" 4 - Unteroffizier Kurt Schmidt

Hello,

I really like these groups. We have Unteroffizier Kurt Schmidt who served with II./ Kampfgeschwader "General Wever" 4 as a bordfunker and bordschütze.

Hi Karol,

Nice group

The Fliegerschützen Abzeichen Urkunde is signed (facsimile) by General der Flieger Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf.

In most cases they would receive the EKII shortly before or after the Bronze Spange, he received it after the Silber one. I wonder why he did not receive it earlier. Silber is #60 missions.

Cheers, Thomas

Great Nachlass, I especially like the Urkunde signed by von Greim.
