Default Mittens 1942 help please???

Hi Team,

I have a pair of mittens marked on the metal buckle OLC OVERHOFF and dated inside 1942 with size markings in ink.
They are part leather and canvas type of material with webbing straps usually seen similar to gas mask straps.

I just don't know if these are really wartime and which country they belong to.

Can anyone please confirm.

Many thanks in advance.
cheers

I don't like them. I bought a similar pair some years ago, and they finally were French post war model. These might have been produced in Germany, as war reparation, with German material...but not a WWII model AFAIK.

Thanks for confirming guys,

The OLC OVERHOFF on the metal buckle had me puzzled, would this component have been faked as well or did that company continue to produce metal components post war?

Much appreciated,

cheers
