Default A FJR6 M37 helmet for sale...

Hi,

This year, for the 75th D Day's anniversary a Norman collector will sell 75 artifacts of his collection in an auction. A very rare M37 helmet with the typical FJR6 camouflage will be for sale. Here the photos from the catalog.

Good luck to all futur buyers

David

Hi, Xavier

Same thing for me. Actual collectors prefer untouched items. A mode since some years....

Interesting helmet. Yes, years ago it was acceptable to clean helmets, remove rust, swap liners, etc. Wouldn't be a helmet for me either...unless it was cheap.

Hi,

Thanks to willi for the photo . For Shaun and Nzef1940. The catalog is not available now. The collector sell US, British and German items all from Normandy battlefield. There are only 2 M38 camo . And if you are interested by US paratroop : 1 renforced M42 jacket, a half of camo Pathfinder M42 renforced jacket, M2 helmet, parachute harness, etc...

Funny, Willi, you reminded me about good old times of digging when I scrabbed different kinds of camo( winter mostly) liberating helmets to expose factory paint
