Ludwig vK asked essentially the same question...

The hard FACTS are that:

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THAT TELLS YOU.

(Hint: Maybe it's NOT that 'the seller' has 2 different versions of the same ring for sale; Maybe there's a much simpler, and perfectly innocent reason this happened).
Thanks for that link Giuseppe! It is clear now that the rings are different. No mixed up pictures or any other excuse. Both fakes made by the same faker. Looks like Andy and Don are hoping this whole thing blows over rather than admitting those rings are fake.

IMO, the "Bruns" ring is one of the ugliest TK rings I've ever seen.
Whomever made it obviously doesn't know how to use patina.
That's why you can't see the inside engraving.
If the ring WERE authentic, where did the darkening patina go?
Did it just disappear?

That 'WARNING" seems really odd......you would think that they would WANT more potential customers to see such a fine specimen............

Predictable behavior; threats of legal action.

The best defense is a good offense.....
It's now at the point of no return.
Let's say someone took action against THEM........
They're banking on the fact that, in the end........who in the authorities is able to discern who is telling the truth? It turns into a "he said"...."she said."......making fraud almost impossible to prove.......whereas "copyright-infringement" is EASY to prove. They would tout themselves as the foremost experts in the world.....so who are you going to believe?
Meanwhile.....the hobby takes a direct hit, as the intimidation begins, and we're told not to believe our lying eyes. CG pulled that intimidation crap when I dared to criticize one of his clunkers. He wanted to know who in the he 11 I was, and suggested we "meet". I told him thanks for the offer, but I would never drive to Long Beach to meet some dude.

Really, I hoped it would have been explained by this time and hoped it was just a mistake, but the more it continues with silence, as I said before, is disappointing. It really does not help the hobby.

I received, in these days, some emails and couple of them with rings.
They were offered some time ago, for over 13K and for 16K.
Beyond the price that could be questionable, I post a couple of pictures. Check them.

Is that the casting seam in picture number two? It looks like the same seam as the bad ones earlier in the thread. Ugly engraving. Also from the same dealer with Boyle COA?
