Scott (NARVIK) is the KM guy around here and I can't wait for him to post some of his bad boys.

These are from my collection. The ET M35 has since left for Canadian Walhalla. The rest are still with me.

First up, M40 Q decal.

Another battle worn KM Q decal (top).

Comparison of ET black lined decal (left) and Q decal, both on M40's.

No mistaking the gold on any of these, IMO.

Unfortunately I do not yet own an EF KM, so someone else will have to show those variants.

I am not sure about SE KM helmets. I believe they used ET KM decals, but someone should be able to enlighten us. I am not an expert, just a fan!

Digging through my files I found some better pictures to compare. First a comparison of two Q KM decals. Note the grey lines.

How many Kriegsmarine helmets in this first picture?

Second shows the two Q M40's. No doubting these are KM's, even with the worn decal on the medic helmet. And I disagree with the comment above about it not mattering if a decal is KM or not when there is not much left of it. A KM is an order of magnitude (or more) rarer than a Heer. Thus, it can make a big difference, particularly on a rare variant like a camo or medic helmet. Same goes for SS helmets, for that matter.
