The straps on the canister use a mix of hardware. The aluminum hook on the short strap is maker marked.

Here is another rubberized canvas mask, this one with the screw-off plug that allows it to be fitted with a microphone. Most of the masks of this type I see are Kriegsmarine marked, this one does not have any KM stamps and I assume it is Heer issue, possibly for Panzer troops. The mask and canister are dated 1940, the straps are reinforced with leather ends.

Besides the mask and fileter, the canister also holds a bakelite box of Losantin skin decontamination tablets, a cleaning cloth and spring, and a number of spare lenses.

Inside the canister are 9 packets of spare lenses- four in the compartment in the lid, and five in the bottom of the canister. There are a few different styles of lens packages.

The mask is dated 1940 inside, there is an ink stamp that I could not photograph. These fittings for the lenses are maker marked and dated AEG 40. The lenses themselves are 1940 dated also.
