Not really.

I go more for the individual “character” and look of individual helmets over models. While I prefer the rolled rims of the M35 and M40, I have passed many times for an M42 that just had a certain look or feel...

My personal tastes lean toward helmets that were pre-war or wartime manufacture. I will push the envelope a bit further and add that I have a strong preference for original paint, decals, and innards.

I see your point some helmet s are stunning with the age patina they have taken on,and being an m35/40/42 dosnt really matter.
