Nice lid Ron! I don't remember seeing this one before, the vet art is nicely done and at least they didn't decide to remove the wire!

I missed this one, very nice piece and as stated at least they didn't remove the wire.
I've often wondered what memories these helmets held for the GI's?
Sometimes displayed but often tucked or hidden away in the basement
or attic.
