Looks like the ribbons on these medal bars are tea or coffee stained. I don't think I have ever found a medal bar with stained ribbons. Damaged ribbons for sure, but not stained.

I only collect singles so bars are not my strong point but I find one thing rather odd here

Seven different bars in this thread with Silesian Eagles II, all in brass and all of the same design (they all look "Deumer" to me) all mounted in the same style? There must be 30 to 40 makers of SEs during the period with different designs and Deumer (with whom I am more familiar) alone produced 6 different versions that I know of: Enamelled, oxidized brass, natural brass (used here from what I can judge from the picts), silvered brass, semi hollow black painted brass and semi hollow black painted iron but is not the only prolific maker (Meybauer produced even more versions). What are the chances of the same SE II showing up on all these bars ? Not good IMO

A real bar amidst a flood of fakes. Very nice medal bar, Patrick.
