Default **How To Attach Images To Your Post**

At the bottom of the page where you make your post there is an area called ATTACH FILES

here you will find a clickable link "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS".

click on that link and a new window will pop up that looks like this:

now click on the BROWSE button. this will take you to your directory, so that you can find the picture you want to upload. I will presume that your picture safely falls within the file and pixel allowments in place here.

Once you have found your image on your hard drive, click open, or double click the file to open it.

Now the MANAGE ATTACHMENT pop up window should have the image "address" displayed in the BROWSE field.

I am pretty sure that this is the point that people are having a hard time with. What you need to do is click on:

ADD THIS FILE

this will add this file to your post, but only after it is uploaded to the server. This may take a few moments for your picture to upload. What you must do now is WAIT !!

still waiting? Good. You will know when you are done waiting when one of two things happen..either your image was rejected due to size restrictions (a window will pop up saying so) or...

You have successfully uploaded an image!! In that case, it will be listed underneath your upload box, like this.

ONE LAST THING...

the size limits for uploadable jpeg pictures are either:
  1. 241 KB or
  2. 1200 x 900 pixels
if you exceed either of these boundries, you will not be able to upload your images. A pop up will warn you that your images are too big, and in what parameter they failed.

good luck!
