Default I'll show you mine, if you show me yours...

I recently picked up some pretty nice photos, and thought it would be fun to post some of them. What I am hoping though is, that everyone else ( yes you para photo collectors, you know who you are.... ) will post some of their recent acquisitions as well. For every one that you guys post, I will post one of mine ( for as many as I have of course... ). If you have problems posting photos, you can send them to me, Willi or John and we will be happy to help you.

Will start with this one...

Willi, thanks, but I know that's not true. You have some great photos. Anyway, here's another one to get things kicked off....

Hi Eric,

Here is one my friend from the 3./Fallsch-Jg-MG-Btl.7, the Gefreiter Strienitz.
Photo has been taken in July/August 1941. He earned the EKI in Crete.

More photos can be find in the excellent book, Fallschirmjäger in Crete

Nice color shot Akira, and absolutely, the photos don't need to be portraits.

Welcome to the thread. You have to be an Association Member to be able to post photos. If you desire to become one you must pay $25. Look to the top of the this page and you will see A.Membership click on that and fill out the request. If you do not desire membership you can contact one of the Moderators or another Association Member and they can post the photos for you. Make sure they are in the correct format JPEG and size does not exceed 700 x 750. We look forward to seeing your FJ photos and thank you in advance. Bill

Yannis,

The best part is that we are sharing these photos with those who have a keen interest in the Fallschirmtruppen!! Whenever I have some additional information on the pics being posted I will share it....unfortunately a majority of the photos have nothing on the reverse side....then you can only go by the where the FJ is located at the time the pic was taken...even then that proves to be a challenge in some cases. Here are two FJ and the only way you can tell is by their Jump trousers

Here is another shot of a FJ and the only way you can identify him as being so is by his FJ trousers. Bill
