Default SA dagger Ernst Busch, real or fake?

Hello guys,
I got this first period dagger, marked Ernst Busch Solingen.
I've many doubts about the maker mark impressed on the blade.
I would like toi get your opinion.
Thanks a lot
Val

I've seen that TM on a real early dagger in the past. Do you have more pictures of the entire dagger?
It seems like this blade has no center ridge,

That is what it looks like to me as well. What's needed now IMO are some really good high resolution images to try and see how they were made - and I don't think it would hurt to be able to see the complete dagger. FP

IMO dagger logo is made by engraving method.

- maker mark looks odd
- SA stamp He (Hessia) on wrong side
- very poor fit of grip to crossguard
- scabbard paint looks strange

This dagger has been taken apart and maybe parts have been changed. Additionally I would expect an anodized scabbard. Thus I would be very cautious with this one. JMO.

Dagger has been apart for sure as lower crossguard is reversed. Crossguard looks marked correct. Scabbard fittings look like nickel construction and seem to fit to crossguard well. It is missing the hanger ring on the throat fitting. All in all I think it is an original item that has been apart. Maybe a parts dagger but not a fake IMHO.

Here is mine. Notice the difference on the maker mark.

Default SA Dagger

To my eye, this latest maker mark looks very similar to the dagger in question when enlarged. It looks like it is made of all the fine dots, but this one still has dark burnishing remaining.
Just my opinion.

I think the logo is fine. I have a few photos of different Ernst Busch daggers - this is how the logo looks on all of them. He Gruppe is also correct. What I don't like is the grip/crossguard gap. It is a bit too wide.
