Default Gebirgsjäger Backpack??

Hello people,

Need a little help with this. I would love to know if it is Heer Gebirgsjäger, SS Gebirgsjäger or HJ/DJ Mountain Backpack.... or am I well out?

It is very well made. I will take some interior images & upload them next week.
It all still works very well & I do actually use this as a day bag when it snows here.

The maker stamp says the following:

3
G. MULLER
CATTLER
ALTIKON
CKT. Z. O
34

The owners no is: 131651

I think the 34 means 1934, but I could be wrong.

I wanted to list it in the Tony Barto SS Uniforms section, but i don't want to be told off for listing it in the wrong area as I have been before.

Hope anyone can help.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, now I know.

Don't worry, it cost nothing at all some time back. I only ever got it because I really liked the style, & that it can be still used.
People always ask about it as it is quite unusual & i have never known what to say about it.

Is it some sort of Swiss mountain guides pack or something? And would the 34 be for year of manufacture?

Thanks again.

Default Backpack from Bjørnfjell, Narvik

This is a backpack from my collection.

My grandfather found it after the war, inside the train station on the mountain of Bjørnfjell, near Narvik.

The mountain was controlled by the LWs paratroopers from the 7. Flieger-Division.

One can say that this has only had one owner since it was left by the LW.
