Default Romanian anti communist campaign crusade medal

Hello, just to share this Romanian anti communist campaign medal. this one was part of a grouping (Oberleutnant Schöttle serving with Flak Regiment 25), there was also his east front medal, but someone was faster then me

The medal is is great condition.

Here are some of the other items that were in the Schöttle grouping.

Very nice medal, I really like the design of those.

Hey Pierce, what medal is on the right on those bars? I don't recognize
the ribbon

I have his breast eagle, unmounted EK2, Sudetenland Medal, 5 piece ribbon bar and a pair of shoulder boards (of which he had about 8 pairs???????)

Now the proud owner of the replacement medal bar shown in post three.

Weighed up the options of having the original (wrong way round) bar or the correct replacement. Sense won in the end. Slightly more money than I had hoped for, for a three piece but, apparently, it's the foreign awards that command the price.

I brought a fantastic five piece Luft medal bar for half the price. Will show once I have all the items.

Forgot to mention I also brought his 25th Rgt Flak tinnie and button hole ribbons.

I would actually dread knowing how much I have spent in total on Oberleutnant Schöttle's pieces/grouping.

Not sure why but some how felt compelled to collect as much as I could for this particular officer, plus it will look fantastic in the frame.
