Here is my contribution; RAD cap insignia cut off an M43.
I acquired this from the daughter of the vet, along with some other bring backs ( http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=604907)

Love the tropical tunic example and I have the twin to your luft droop tail, also uniform removed rather than a cut off.

Here is a piece of Heer M-43 cap with late war machine-embroidered trapezoid, the souvenir of a US 82nd Airborne veteran:

Thanks Willi, I know you appreciate these hacked-off souvenirs as I do (though I think you favor LW examples). Anyway, here are a couple more:

Very nice thread, I really love those cut off insignas.
If somebody want to let go some cut off eagles or collar tabs from KM coastal artillery, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks Willi!
Also found some great used/worn insignia, but these were the only cut-offs I bought.

time of a cut off update, these are my fav bit about collecting but today some of the prices asked are crazy as i was offered a luft o.s cap (e.m) cut for well over 220 euros (over 280u.s) plus costs,
i told the seller i can buy a whole cap for that.
theirs every their from flight, a couple of reed h.b.t, a blue h.b.t, black h.g cut off, collar tabs and 1 medical.
