Cap Covers and Caps

I have a Volksmarine 'Donald Duck' style cap and I also have the white cap cover for it. I was wondering how essentially to attach the white cover when there is no hole or specified area for the DDR coat of arms to attach through? Does the hat come apart also for attachment of the white cover as well or how so does it work? Thanks.

Just pin it through the Fabric.

Yes the cap comes apart. The base of the cap has a groove around the top. The edging on the opening of the top, white or blue, fits into this groove. It fits tightly so it takes some effort to remove a cap top. The state emblem must be put on the top when it is off the cap. There is a stiffener at the ront of the cap to provide the shape of the cap.

Don't forget to fold the Elastic Band of the Cover back before you fix it. Makes it more fancy.
