Afrikakorps cuff title?

I picked up this well worn and sewn on cuff title at the local Hettenleidelheim show today from a reputable dealer who got it from the family. I also have a black background cuff title and wonder if this was possibly an early privately made cuff title on a green background?

here is a close up of the weave style and it is still sewn onto a tropical cloth backing material.

has anyone ever seen anything like this? Opinions are welcomed.

I have never seen one like this in any pictures (not saying it doesn't exist, I'm not that much of an expert on Afrika LOL). I would really like to see what africasandman would have to say about this one.

it's on the fake tunic shown in posts 2852-2854 and is considered to be a fake.
