Große Stabszelt Camouflage
Grüß Gott Kameraden,
Does anyone have an original example of the 'große Stabszelt' (large Staff Tent) in the early Reichwehr camo pattern? Here's an example of a repro tent (non-camo) that my reenactment unit has:

Grüß Gott Fusilier,
Thank you for your response and for the link. I will contact the site owner and see what else I can find out.

Grüß Di' Fusilier,
Yes...I think I have figured it out. There are actually 2 patterns. One is a two-tone camo, like the tent above which has a green canvas base with a brown pattern. The other is a three-tone camo in sand, green, and brown. Both of these were early Reichwehr camo patterns. Here are a couple of examples of the pattern that I found in a pre-war book in my collection:

What would the price on an original period tent be, in very good condition, and complete with all poles and plugs and transport bags?

Such a thing does not change hands often enough to have a real established market value. Not a very displayable object, but no doubt hard to find, might be worth a bundle to the right buyer.

I've bought about 9 or 10 original Stabszelt (gr and kl) over the last few years. It's a bit of a sellers market as they don't come up very often, however as has been pointed out there isn't a lot you can do with 110lbs of canvas!!
