Red KM chevron? Help needed.
Hello,
recently I got this red chevron with another bunch of original KM insignia, but my search ended without much success.
I'd like to get any info about these. Some are saying it's Marine-HJ chevron, some that it never existed.
Any info?
Thanks in advance!

Noone know something more about this?
Backing is navy-blue, just as on all other KM patches I have.

Hello, Kaiserlischemarine used also red chevrons, but I think that thicker than this one so I vote also for Marine HJ.

this one has me stumped .... Marine HJ did use chevrons but they were smaller and in a circle. http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=3036
What about merchant navy ? As I dont know what rank system they used.
Had a quick look in reference books and cant find anything either, hope someone knows

Marine HJ for sure, check my shirt:
http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=516507
It has a double chevron from the same construction. Shirt had triangle removed, but was clearly there.

and still i see no proof the chevron was HJ Marine ? as far as I know they did not use this type of chevron ... but am more then willing to learn. Also reference books do not point in the way of HJ marine .... yes maybe a child navy dress up tunic chevron ?
