Anoden batterie Torn.e.b etc
Does anyone have a scan of the label to Pertrix 90 Volt anode-Batterie or equivalent? Previously found it online, but no longer available. Want to create a functional and realistic copy of the battery that I can use in the accessory box to Torn.E.b....
Best regards

Metal sheet / "drawer" for anodenbatterie Torn.E.b
I have allmost completed the "zubehor" box for the Torn.E.b, the only ting that reminds is the metal plate/sheet/drawer for the "anodenbatterie".
I would really appreciate if someone could help me to get info that I could use to make a substitute/copy of this part. ( picture/drawing/measures )
Regards, boris / LA8SOA

Hello Fellow Norwegian Boriz/Børre
Most of the zubehör tornisters that I have seen are missing the "Anodenbatterie Bodenblech" or the sheet metal plate for securing the battery, or as in my case, the Ew.b.
My tornister was also missing this part when I first got it. But I have found a original bodenblech, made of aluminium. It has been laying in the ground for many years, but a lot of the original paint is still present. It is only missing the leather strap with buckle, wich goes from back to front, and should keep the battery or Ew.b. in it's place.
Anyway, I have taken some pictures for you, and also written the correct measurements in one of the pictures.
These sheet metal plates have been reproduced (!) in Germany during the 90's. I do not know how many that was made, or the quality of the reproductions. But I suspect that these reproductions can circulate among collectors as originals today..
Anyway, here are the pictures:
I hope this helps
Cheers
Bjørn

This was great, Bjørn - and I thank you so much for taking the time to post this, both pictures and measurements. I have "trawled" the internet to find a picture or description; virtually no results. Found only images showing the accessory case with the anode battery installed, so that one just gets a hint of the front of this "drawer".
Great "zubehorkasten" you've collected, by the way. The headset with the original “Ohrmuschelgummi" is not what you see every day, and I have tried to get hold of one, but they seem to cost their own weight in gold...!
I have by the way an early version of "zubehorkasten" and I found it necessary to renovate mine because it was in pretty bad shape. I "cheated" a bit with a homemade battery (rechargeable) and re-wiring, etc., but I think it looks good, and most of all it’s now part of a working station. I'd better switch over any original equipment if I come across it.
OK, takk igjen Bjørn, og hold av godværet nordpå; som utfløtta nordlendinga må vi nok opp på gammeltomta på andre sia av vestfjorden en tur regner jeg med :o) Ha en strålende sommer !!

Hi Boriz. Sorry about the slow reply, I have been away for work since last monday.
Thanks for the nice words regarding my zubehörkasten
You have done a very good job, restoring your battery box. I presume it is the same box that was sold on qxl some time ago:
http://www.qxl.no/pris/samleobjekter...v/an678554814/
I also have a working Torn.E.b. set. the zubehörkasten belongs to this set.
Here's a picture I took outside a couple of years ago of this set.
I am currently collecting parts for yet another Torn.E.b. for my collection. This radio does not work at the time being, but I'm looking to buy some new capacitors to replace the old malfunctioning capacitors. A real shame that it does not work, because it is otherwise in exellent original condition.
I also have a complete original wiring for the zubehörkasten, but I'm still missing the box and lid for this one.
Anyway, I would really like to see more pictures of your radios, so please post some more
Greetings
Björn

Hello again at last!; Long and Happy Holidays'll take the blame for my slow response here on the forum. Superb impressive setup with many interesting details, Bjorn. It must have been fun to set up this display, you set high standards here, I must say, the pressure of expectations is formidable: How can I post pictures now ...?
Yeah you're right: battery box was the one who was looking at QXL, It looked good in the picture but was in rather poor condition. A lot of work, but fun when it works out.
Hope you will manage the new project, Wonderful edition of early Torn.eb. -Tell us about how it progresses!
