101st Airborne Flash

Hi guys. Just need some help on a 101 AB Flash. It appears to me to be a good type 2 WWII vintage. I hope this photo is good enough to make a determination. I am on vacation and found this one in an antique store framed with a number of other WWII flashes. I can't see the back without tearing into the frame and the store keeper was not very keen on that idea.

Any help will be appreciated.

I did check out Bando's site but the photos aren't large enough.
