Default What is this for Parka ?

Hi Guys,

I found this photo on the internet and these men are soldiers of the 12th SS Hitlerjugend division.
My question, what is this for sort of Parka of the guy at the front of this photo ?
Is it a Italian camo parka because it has also pockets on the front, large camouflage stains that look a bit like that kind of parka's?
Or is it something else?
Thank you very much!

Kind regards,

Jeroen

It's a coverall made of italian camouflage material....not a parka.

It's a well known photo.

Cheers

How do you know it's a coverall?
I don't see it in the photo, could be a parka as well for me.

They wouldn't have been wearing a parka in JUNE, nor through most of the campaign for Normandy... too bloody hot.
