here is my new Belgian separation (independance) from Holland medal. For the defenders of Brussels and Liege,

I have no proof, but I don't think so. Maybe some Antwerp medal for the siege/ Citadel? As far as I know the independence struggle was initiated in Brussels by french speaking (and France orientated) groups.

Even if there were Flemish participants it would be very unlikely to find medals like this with Dutch texts, back then everything official was in French, Flemish was considered marginal by the higher society so it would be unlikely to find anything official in Dutch.

Thanks for your replies. I too think that it's very unlikely to find one witch Dutch text, but such an example would be very interesting from a historical and "sociolinguistic" point of view!
