Wow guys, just wow...

Jan!
What is that metal box on right side of the 2nd picture?
Ammo box with red cross, or motorcycle storage box?

Nice items and pictures!
Gábor

Was informed French pre40 origine (ammo?). Due to traces of feldgrau paint, IMO re-used by sanitäter.

Well said Tom,

coming back to stretchers: there is one more pattern between these form Fred's collection and well know foldable wartime M37 pattern. It has been named M34 and is not collapsible. Simply divided in two "twin" sections instead. Will provide some pics when get home. I do own nice frame of this pattern.

That is one RARE piece Fred. Very hard to find this non-folding mod 34 type, especially in this condition!! I don't have such example...yet

It would be great on display with a 'Mai 40 krankenträger' (hint )
WH used even mod 13 too in early days.

Greetings

Jan

Rob, I think that you mean the last one posted, no? IMO that is considered mod 34...

Very nice indeed. I like the positioning of all the stuff, like it's ready to be used.

Here is quick shot of my M34 Tragbahre frame, some individual re-painted them but not correctly (lucky me...). New surface of garden-green paint is easy to remove. I found maker's stamps and date : 1935. Genuine finish is same as on pair showed by Fred: dark green on red base.

I will provide more later

You are correct Rob! Last pictures from Fred concerns Model 13 indeed! I need stop drinking slivovitj for apperitif at noon

Concerning folding, I think I misunderstood you.
I mean 'folding' per part as visible on below manual-pictures (Krankenträgerordnung). Not the 2 parts together when fixed to each other.

So
1 - model 13 - example Fred
2 - model 34 - manual pictures (and IMHO yours).
3- Last model (you name Mod 37) - halftengleiche Feldtrage - most common to find.

Is this correct?

If yours is still different, maybe between official named examples, some variants were designed?
