I found this in gettyburg this weekend. appears to be made of rayon with place for pole hanger stitched on top and is close tp 15 ftet long with gold fringe on botyom. any help would be appreciated.

The banner is a "send off" banner or also called a "going to war" banner. I am not sure what the Japanese name for them is. It was used to celebrate a soldiers entering the armed forces. Others can help with the name translated on it.
