Pink Smock with Overprint
Not to kick a dead horse, but so long as the Pink Smock debate rages, here's something to consider.
Most, if not all, of the smocks I've seen posted look like they were printed out used a modern roller. This tunic has misaligned patterns, indicating multiple applications of dye. Other than that, it is unremarkable and made like all the other smocks of this type.
It may mean nothing, and I aplogize if I missed a posted smock that has misaligned camo patterns. However, as so many original SS garments have an overprint or slipped screening, I thought it might help.
It is only misaligned on the green side, the autumn side shows no white.
regards, Robert
