I adore this thread, it's pure joy to see the tank progress stage by stage.
The attention to detail is mind-blowing!
Have you thought more on your RC setup? will you be animating the guns with servos for example?

I'm still slowly working on it, and will post some update pics soon
as for the RC aspect, I'm still trawling yardsales for a kiddie ride-on vehicle, to cannabalize. I'd love to have the guns RC, lights and sound, and smoke, but all that might be a later 'retro fit', once the actual tanks on the move, we'll see, I've still got just a little painting to finish...
