It's an honest comment ... try a search and the 4 digit RZM label would come up as a fake, search for real oakleaf tabs and these you posted are VERY poor compared to originals.

It's the truth.

Might be truth, but no need to blame somebody for lack of knowledge... I never collected that stuff, so when I get offers of what is out of my focus, I take the chance to ask those who know.
But next time I let it pass, before getting blamed again.

As I have said a hundred times on this forum in the past, people please do your OWN research FIRST using the search engine on this forum. More than likely, whatever questions you have, they've probably already been answered in some other thread. This is especially for those people who start thread after thread with metal cap insignia. We must have several threads on each and every original and reproduction metal cap insignia!!! If you're a serious collector, then you need to buckle down and study what you're collecting. You should stand on your own with your own knowledge, and hopefully experience. If you cannot find the answer to your question, then by all means, start a thread and ask. There are many threads on this forum dealing with SS general's collar tabs, as well as references to The Marshalls Baton. We're not being abusive, even though you might think so. But many of us are tired of the same old questions about things we've already explored in depth at some time. Good luck in your collecting.

Sometimes I draw the conclusion that this forum is just a quick source to vet or reject garbage. 90% of the threads are item specific, and generally very common items. It is great to share knowldge and experience, but I agree with Bob. Educate yourself, buy the books before buying the items, and be very careful. It seems that 95% of the SS stuff we are seeing now is pure CRAP!.
