The fake shield I bought several years ago at a German show. The seller had about a dozen of them varying from mint to artificial aged. Non them were sold to deceive as they were clearly marked as replicas.

I will post some pictures from which you can compare the original with the fake. You will also notice that the fake is same type as yours.
