A question. For the majority of my collecting career it was an excepted fact that any German hat with air holes was post war and those without were war time. From what I see on different forums now this no longer seems to be accepted fact. Hats without air holes, with one air hole and with two air holes are all considered authentic wartime manufacture and issue. What are your thoughts on this?
