Default Kriegsmarine jumper shirt

I recently received my very first KM jumper shirt and even though I don't doubt the originality of this piece I still have some questions regarding the insignia.

According the Stammrollennummer this shirt was from a sea-going soldier (S) but the special insignia says he's from a coastal gun. How is that possible? Or am I perhaps mixing up things or....? Neither my Kriegsmarine books nor google could help me to clear this up.

Any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance!!!
(and my apologies for the not too good pics, blame it on my rather crappy cam ).

The makers mark:
