Question Any idea who these RK holders are?

Here is a photo of several RK holders meeting with Axmann. On the left of Axmann is General Herrlein. The photo doesn't ID the other RK holders. Who do you think these RK holders are? Thanks!

Hi Todd,

The gentleman on the far left with the tank destruction devices is Major Erich Löffler.

Dick

Hello

Very nice picture.
I think this photo belongs to a group of pics taken during a visit of RKT to the Reichsjugendführung. It was taken in August-September, 1942.
The bold officer (6th from left - ie whose the "T" of the word photo is written on his own chest) is Max Sachsenheimer.
I would have said that the following guy looks like Heinrich Niemann but his RK awarding date (1943) excludes him from the possible list. The officer with glasses at the far right side is not unknown to me but I can't remember his name for the moment.

Pay a visit to that thread where you will find intersting info.

Thanks all for the help so far. This is a press photo which was released on 4 Nov 42. It would have been nice if the agency would have identified all the RK holders in the photo instead of just only the one.

Two more:

Between Sachsenheimer and Herrlein was Hans Gottard Pestke and the officer on the extreme right with glasses was Wilhelm Huemmerich.

Cheers
Elwyn
