War Binoculars ID help

I have a set of binoculars that I would appreciate help in identifying.

They are black in color, with a brown neck strap. Both sides are adjustable.

Markings: 8x30
Serial # 116836
MUNKASORSEG TULAJDONA
41 [date?]

These binoculars came in a standard military style brown leather case, with strap. Case is unmarked. Has small compartment inside the top cover. Belt loop on back.

Any information would be appreciated.
Joe

I have a pair of Zeiss binos that my grandfather gave me, he was a German soldier who fought on the Eastern Front...i always thought they where 1940ish issue..but then i went to the Zeiss website and asked on of their historical researchers about them and sent me some nice info on their origin and date...to bad i can't read French..he did tell me they where from 1912 and that fewer than 2000 where made up until at least 1922 and they where good for low light usage such as dawn or twilight...If i where you, i would go to the manufacturers website(if they have one available) and you would probably get a lot of good info there...

War

Richard

Thank you for your suggestion. I do not know if this company still exists today or what country they originate from, but I will check the internet. They might be made in Hungry.

Wondering if anyone else knows something out this name.
