Default American Indians In The Waffen Ss?

Hi to all!I hope hat's the right section where to open this curious thread, if not please administrators feel free to move it into the correct link, thank you!!
I want to share with all of you this real curious news appeared on the web (written by an italian historician and writer) and showed me thanks to a friend of mine about the history of the recruiting of American Indians into the waffen ss.....

"According to top secret documents, declassified at the beginning of the twenty-first century, it would seem that native Indians of America, commonly called redskin, would have been part of creating a department of Waffen SS. From documents finally made public, it seems that the SS were formed at the end of the Second World War by a department exploration, officially named as "Aufklarung Reiter Kompanie" Chief Sitting Bull. " But how had come about?
Well, Native American Indian who had been forcibly recruited as conscripts in the armed American 'US Army, were captured by the Wehrmacht during the battles of Kasserine in northern Africa, a Monte Cassino in Italy and Normandy. These pellerossa much like to join the Waffen SS in the hope that the Third Reich quit winner in the first Europe and then go to the conquest of America to destroy the Government of Banda of Roosevelt who considered plutocratico, with the ultimate goal of being able to build a new independent nation of Indians of America.Their leader was the Cherokee Chief Standing Bull, which was avo Sitting Bull.Standing Bull tried in vain to have a meeting with the Fuhrer to be appointed gauleiter or independent governor of a Cherokee-land, but in vain, because the fuhrer was at Prussia. Chief Standing Bull was pleasing but the honour of having a meeting with the Recichsfuhrer SS Himmler. After that conversation, was established a department of cavalry from exploration of "braves" or "warriors redskin and Chief Standing Bull was appointed Braves-Sturmbannfuhrer or more of redskin" Himmler himself.
It is reported that this unit warriors pellerossa incorporated in the SS were used during the Ardennes offensive, and they were looking mainly scalps of Americans taken prisoner. It seems that some American prisoners were rescued even by men of the Gestapo too!!!
Then they were used in the battle of Berlin against the Soviets.
Only 30 redskins survived to this battle, including Chief Standing Bull who was also a witness of the marriage between Hitler and Eva Braun in those chaotic last days of the Third Reich. Knowing that the Soviets had captured redskins, US President Truman took them to Stalin who was very happy to rid.
So only 30 of them came back to the USA in 1947 and were judged by a military court martial for treason. Only in 1995 will be pardoned by President Clinton. "

If I can understand from one side that this can be a real real curious news, what I want to bring to your attention is a dug bowie knife complete with scabbard found in the Ardenne in a german fox hole with some german stuffs like relic helmets, weapons and fieldgears....I am enclosing the scans of the bowie and of an helmet which comes from the same place...
I always supposed that this wouldhave been a war trophy taken by a german soldier from an american but now, this article open me new horizons...due it's very very strange to find a "native" knife like this alone with german stuffs....

The total lenght of the bowie is 12,5" , following find pictures of one of the helmets found close to the fox hole, IMO seems to be a SS....
