Commissar Uniforms

Hey all,

I just wanted to start a thread showing some of my other Sovie/Warsaw pact items. I really mainly collect East German stuff but over the years I have acquired some other uniforms I enjoy very much. I am hoping you all will show me some great uniforms on this thread too. This first item is a Commissar tanker uniform with the embroidered red star that would get you shot if you were captured after 22 June 1941. Thanks to Doug for this one. I will put up 4 views. Mike

Hi Michael,

I know how hard and how long you've been at it to acquire a Commissar Uniform. Now that You've finally accomplished it, you must be really proud. That is one very nice example. Very impressive. Nice to see you got the Pilotka hat as well.

I had no idea you had more than one of these very unique WWII Soviet Tunics. Both the Armour and the Artillery are top notch. Superb.
