Luftwaffe breast eagle - original?

Hello,
What is everybody's opinion of this breast eagle? I am not fond of the left wing and the way it comes more vertically from the body than gently swinging up. But, that may just be my esthetic eye.
Also, it is on a first pattern flieger blouse, so I would not mind removing it to restore the tunic to original specifications.

The wing angle doesnt concern me.

Are there sets of dual strand threads(6 for the left and 4 for the right) on the tops of the wings?
