Default Luft flight equipment and all that's related.

Hi ,

We've come to the idea to start a thread about flight equipment and all that's related.
Another thread in this forum is dealing with Heer equipment mainly and mixing it with Luft and Navy isn't a good idea ,the fields are different and might give confusion.
Keeping it seperate will work better , so ,only Luft flight items in here .
Also all other related items are welcome , it's a large field of interest ,hopefuly for many ,but surely for the few in that collecting field.
I hope you'll dig out your stuff when it has anything to do with flight .
Relating things on pictures will work fine too to give a idea..

So ,let's get started !

Jos.

The cased cross on the left...with the RK laying face down...is a piece of major Stolle's flight gear

Jos the picture of Stolle that you posted above is perhaps my favorite Luftwaffe picture. It totally captures the attitude of the Luftwaffe fighter pilot in WWII

I'm happy to say the KCs are all mine......

Jos yes..that is the date. The Stolle cross is by itself along w/ a wartime portrait. The other cased crosses are part of large groups, both fighter pilots. The one on the right is Gunther Hannak JG 77 (800 SL). The loose KC is part of a large group to an infantry officer (800/65). The oaks and KC are unattributed, but came back from the war just like this and are a worn set....they belonged to an OLT, but we will never know which. I got them from an estate liquidator here in the US..They were a GI souvenier.
