Default German Eagle Dek Ornament

Hello to all,

I would like to hear some opinions on the desk ornament in the link below. It looks to me like a nice piece of artwork, but I am not sure if this is an original or reproduction.

Thank you for any and all opinions.

Best regards,
Tom

It appears to be very well made, but upon closer inspection, the details especially the wreath and talons seem soft. The base seems also to be an unconventional type.

I have mixed feelings on this piece, and would play safe and skip on this.
We need more photos.

Hi Tom,

I must agree with Mil on this desk eagle. It makes a nice impression on screen, but some of the details one would expect/hope for don't seem to be there.

I happened to notice a Golden Party Badge -- or something that resembles one -- on the sidebar at this dealer's site, and that caught my attention so I took a closer look. The dealer is offering this GPB-type pin as an original piece, and at the respectable sum of $595.00. This offering tells me something about this dealer, and I would run away from anything he is offering for sale! IMO, of course!
