Default What a find!!

Hello all, was helping my friend dan at his house, clearing out his garage and in a cardboard box in a cardboard box, i found these 3 beauties and i practically had a heart attack

Unfortunately my friend wants to keep them for himself and maybe sell them as he says his grandad faught near Arnhem and found these three in various places in german positions. Him and i hope you like
(And lets hope he is not making it all up and they are fakes )

Also, as he doesnt really appreciate his history, he wants to find out how much each of them are worth

If they are original examples and the right one is a real Juncker than you are a lucky guy.

Seems that your friend sold the juncker and that a lot under the value,...only 220 pounds.

Hehehehehe,...I'm smelling a ban

Is this a joke? Arnhem indeed.

Two of those are god awful fakes -- so bad I can smell them from here.

The only one we need better photos of is the Juncker.

If that website is run by a forum member, he should be banned. I've visited there many times and it's full of fakes. Also they never respond to requests for better photos. It's buyer beware.

I see the poster is already expelled -- just hours after this post. Good job Mods.

Shameful attempt to get PMs from eager collectors.

He is on line now as GenThomas with the EXPELLED right under his name.I mean he is a young collector, I think we should give him a second chance and see if he has learned his lesson jmo.I guess he leared that we have eyes and ears on him and other people that try and play games with our hobby.

ok: gentlemen, can i come clean with you all here?
Right, im generalthomas. This whole post was started because i thought i had found a great deal on the german medals site. I posted it to see if they were original or fake,,but came up with the story about finding them, so people would not go to the website and buy them....just my selfishness i guess.... I heard someone say they were going to wring my neck, because i ripped of a guy called jim? In truth, ive never sold a thing to the members on the WAF, just bought items. And people who can support me on that are: wagenrad, oberst91 and i have just done a deal with an andrei for a kvk1. I do not post pictures asking if they are real or fake to make a quick buck, they are genuinely on ebay, like the ww1 gold wound badge and the screw back EK1. Just do a search for them on ebay, and compare them to my posts. I became friends personally with a moderator by the name of "evil mike". I met him in a militaria shop near where i live. I am sorry for any inconvenience i caused and from my time here, everyone was friendly and i love the WAF. It is full of honest people helping one another, and i am a very keen young collector. But as there are hardly any militaria shops around these days, and with ebay full of fakes, thr waf is somewhere i can purchase good quality items, that i cant really find anywhere else. I am sorry,, and all i can ask is for your forgiveness. My sincere apoligies, Kane

Stay well clear. From memory some of the cheaper items are ok but many of the pricey ones are fake. Try asking for detailed pics of any of them. "already sold" (but still listed as for sale) etc excuses.
Buy from the forum here or if you're looking for uk dealers then Jamie cross or Toby Rowan's sites - www.thirdreichmedals.com and www.dasreich.co.uk are very reputable. There are plenty more good uk and European sites too. Watch out for US sites as uk import tax can get very expensive
